Hey Guys! I have been trying to write this review for the past two months now and never got a minute to do so. So there we go, I am FINALLY telling you all about the latest and probably the coolest Collaboration Clinique has ever done so far; The Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection.
As you might already know, Clinique cosmetics and I have a pretty magical love affair since about 1 year now. Thus, I feel like I just cannot not tell you properly and in details how much I LOVE the Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection. This summer 2017, Clinique has presented a bold make-up line full of palm trees and fun vibes, designed in collaboration with the talented American potter and designer Jonathan Adler. Offered in limited edition, the collection adopts the iconic geometric motifs of the famous designer and was inspired by the summer destinations Jonathan Adler loves the most, and oooh Capriii so do we!
I remember the day I discovered the FULL Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection in my mailbox… I had just gotten back from my short summer holidays, a bit sad to go back to real life until I discovered that Clinique Switzerland had sent me the full Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection. I was speechless as I knew how limited this collection is and that it had only launched back in July 2017, only available exclusively online on www.ch.clinique.com.
I am not going to review each single products of the Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection in depth, simply because I got so so many products that I have decided to organize a big giveaway to thank all of you my lovely blog Subscribers and Instagram followers for making each of my days brighter with your support. I will however, happily share some pictures of all the products I got from this dreamy collection and tell you which ones I personally prefer.
Firstly, as a Beauty & Design lover, I fell for the packaging of this Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection, has they have been reinterpreted by the American designer, who has chosen to cover them with his emblematic geometric motifs. The design is audacious and the colors pop perfectly as they should.
Jonathan Adler said his collection for Clinique is for women who are looking for eternal glamour. This Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection is reminiscent of the holidays; it is bold, colorful, bright and radiant.
The limited edition collection consists of six shades, three in limited edition, from “Clinique Pop Rouge Intense + Base”, whose design is inspired by the designer’s “Globo” collection. The cabochons of the lipsticks are thus endowed with an yoke in acrylic and adorned with a geometric pattern. Another thing that I like about this Clinique X Jonathan Adler Limited Edition Collection is that all the names and colors of the different products draw their inspiration from the favorite destinations of the designer: Palm Beach Pop, Capri Pop, Santorini Pop, among others.
Jonathan Adler also reviewed the design of the “Lid Pop”, light shadows of Clinique. These are designed with a geometric motif reminiscent of the French gardens, and are available in four colors: Cream Pop, Willow Pop, Aqua Pop, and Grape Pop. This recognizable motif also comes with the Cheek Pop blushes of the brand, available in two colors: Peach Pop, which I am now using on a daily base for my summer look and Plum Pop (super Barbie pink blush style haha).
The masterpiece of the collection is the “Chic Color Set” palette, which adopts a “happy chic” look thanks to a geometric pattern highlighted with touches of color. I have not used this palette yet because I personally do not use colorful eye shadows. I am more into colors that are more natural for my eyes. This dreamy palette contains thirteen matt, iridescent, pearlescent colors and brushes. This Clinique x Jonathan Adler limited edition collection has been launched last July on the e-shop of Clinique. It will cost you $22 for Clinique Pop Intense Red, $20 for Lid Pop, $27 for Cheek Pop, $49 for the Jonathan Adler Luxe Brush Collection and $39 for the Chic Color Set palette.
